Palm Coast Announces Aquatics Center Reopening
The Palm Coast Aquatics Center is reopening on Monday, April 6 for the 2026 season. Starting Monday, residents will have access to a number of recreation programs, fitness classes, lessons, and other activities. The Aquatics Center is located at 339 Parkview Drive, located behind Buddy Taylor Middle School and Wadsworth Elementary School on Belle Terre Parkway. The facility contains the Frieda Zamba swimming pool. In addition to the swimming pool, the Aquatics Center also has a picnic shelter, classroom, parking and restrooms. A full list of programs which will be available at the Palm Coast Aquatics Center is available at the city's website. There interested residents can sign up, view schedules, and research the different offerings at the Aquatics Center. The Palm Coast city government asks those seeking further information to call (386) 986-4741. Aquatics Center Programs A number of programs will be available to residents this season. Those include the following, according to a release from the Palm Coast city government. Aquatic Zumba - "Blending the Zumba philosophy with water resistance, Aqua Zumba delivers a fun, energetic workout with less impact on joints, making it perfect for participants looking to stay active while enjoying a pool-party atmosphere." Water Aerobics - "This low-impact class combines aerobics with strength training using natural water resistance to activate muscle groups and improve overall fitness without placing stress on joints." Private and Semi-Private Swim Lessons - "Certified instructors provide personalized instruction to help swimmers of all ages improve technique, build confidence, and strengthen water safety skills." Youth Swim Lesson (Ages 4+) - "Structured lesson packages help young swimmers develop foundational skills through guided instruction in a supportive environment." Pool Safety Day - "Families are invited to participate in a fun and educational event focused on water safety on May 23rd from 1-4 pm. Activities include pool games, mini learn-to-swim experiences, water safety demonstrations, and basic first aid awareness led by certified aquatics staff."
