VSO Arrest 13 in Drug Trafficking Bust

Thirteen suspects have been arrested in connection to a drug trafficking investigation by the Volusia Sheriff’s Office. Those involved were said to have been connected to the dealing of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine over a wide area of Central Florida. The investigation was dubbed ‘Operation RoadRunner’ by the VSO. Its two phases spanned months of work by detectives and deputies. Some of the agencies involved included the Volusia Bureau of Investigation (VBI), East Volusia Narcotics Task Force, West Volusia Narcotics Task Force, Deltona Narcotics Enforcement Team, and SWAT team. Additionally, local agencies received support from the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Seized in Operation RoadRunner was 662.3 grams of fentanyl, 649.8 grams of methamphetamine, 29 grams of cocaine, six firearms, two vehicles, and almost $50,000 in cash. One of the guns seized was stolen, the VSO said. The thirteen arrests were of the following suspects, with charges, ages, and cities of residence listed.
