FCSO Investigating Non-Fatal Palm Coast Shooting
The Flagler County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday in Palm Coast's B Section, the agency announced on social media. One person has been confirmed injured. According to the FCSO's statement, the incident occurred shortly before 2:00 p.m. at a residence in the B Section. One person was taken to AdventHealth's Palm Coast Parkway hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The FCSO says that all individuals involved in the shooting have been identified. None of the involved parties have been publicly named as of Monday. It's not yet clear how many people were involved or what criminal charges may stem from the incident. It has been confirmed that the shooting was an 'isolated incident', and that there is no continuous threat to the community. As of Sunday afternoon, deputies were at the AdventHealth hospital where the wounded individual was being treated as part of their investigation. As of Monday morning, little information has been made available about the specifics of the shooting. Further updates will be added to this and/or subsequent stories as they become available.
