Lori Tolland has been a member of the Ormond Beach City Commission since 2022, representing Zone 1. Damien Curry is a local business owner, and George Doran is a firefighter. The Florida House seat which Jason Leslie initially sought is the 29th district, which covers a portion of Volusia County. The seat is currently held by Webster Barnaby, a Republican from Deltona. Barnaby is filed to run for another term, as is Democratic candidate Donald Kanfer.
