Shots Reportedly Fired on Ridgewood Ave in Daytona

Gunshots have reportedly been fired at the 600 block of Ridgewood Ave in Daytona Beach, according to a statement from the Daytona Beach Police Department. The public was made aware of the incident on Monday afternoon. A suspect is apparently barricaded in a standoff with police, the DBPD says. Members of the public and motorists are asked to avoid the area for the time being. As of initial reports Monday, little information is available about the ongoing incident.
